It comes on every start up and I can't seem to make it go away. There are no DTCs being triggered and I have tried disconnecting the battery hoping it would reset the module but issue is still there. The engine light code will give you a big clue of what's causing the accelerator pedal problem. Best way to find out what's going on engine light is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means and the problem. Most auto-part store will do this for free.
Appears the 2.2D version of the Mazda 3 has some issues with dpf which I wasn’t aware of. A quick breakdown: Dpf light came on flashing. Mazda performed review, code P243C. If your DPF light is flashing, this could mean a number of different things, including (but not limited to): 1 You haven't had an oil change for a long time (e.g. 13 months).
